Moon activities include both the START and END times of these types of events:
| Occultation - | When a moon moves behind Jupiter. |
| Transit - | When a moon moves across the face of Jupiter. |
| Shadow transit - | When the shadow of a moon is seen on the face of Jupiter |
| Eclipse - | When a moon moves into or out of the shadow cast by Jupiter. A moon will begin to brighten or dim out of sight some distance away from Jupiter from our perspective. |
All very interesting to observe, especially the eclipse activities.
All events and timings are based on visibility from Stow, OH when the
Sun is at least 6° below the horizon, Jupiter is at least 6° above the
horizon and occurring after dark but prior to 1:30am.
These restrictions are able to be modified by you after the download.
You'll figure it out. ;^)
